Get to know the photographer

I'm the owner and photographer behind Faded Rose Photography (formerly Western Lens Media).

For the last seven years, I've called Northwest Missouri home and have done a lot of living and learning during that time. At a ripe 25 years old, I have embraced the slowing down that comes with life I enjoy a friday night on the back porch soaking in rural America, and a sunday morning in a church pew. But don't worry, now and then I get out and about for an iced coffee and antique mall run with the girls!

My faith has become a significant part of who I am, and I try to live each day trusting in His plan. I think with my spiritual journey, I have really embraced the simple things that mean the most to me. The people, the places, the traditions, all of the little moments that make a person step back and say, "This is everything I prayed for." With a soul that craves the genuineness of life, it's no surprise I picked up a camera and decided this is what I want to do. Capture it all.

I don't just want to give you beautiful photos. I want to give you something that takes you back. The kind of photographs that feel like Jamey Johnson's In Color. The ones that remind you where you've been, who you've loved, and remind you of your "why" in life.
